Talk: Texans for Greater Mental Health - Dr. Lynnette Averill

Come meet and mingle with fellow Yalies and representatives of Texans for Greater Mental Health, a psychedelic medicine nonprofit. Dr. Lynnette Averill, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, will present on the science and promise of psychedelic medicine, and Texans for Greater Mental Health executive director Logan Davidson will give brief remarks on the status and future of psychedelic politics and policy. The core Texans for Greater Mental Health team led the passage of HB 1802 in 2021, Texas' landmark legislation establishing and funding a clinical trial for the use of psilocybin to treat Veteran PTSD at Baylor College of Medicine.
