Two-Step the Austin Way: A Night of Dancing, Music & Fun at Donn’s Depot

Did you know Austin has its very own style of Two-Step dancing? Known as the Honky Tonk Two-Step, this lively local variation was born right here in the city’s legendary dance halls. Dancers believe it evolved to suit Austin’s cozy honky tonk bars—tight spaces that inspired creative footwork, plenty of spins, and just the right amount of flair.

Join us for an unforgettable night of dancing, learning, and connecting with fellow Ivy Plus alumni at one of the most iconic Two-Step venues in town. Whether you're brand new to dancing or already have some moves, this event is all about fun, community, and Austin tradition.

7:00 PM: Social mingling & casual drinks
7:30 – 8:30 PM: Beginner-friendly Two-Step lesson
8:30 PM onwards: Live band & open dancing—practice your new moves with fellow alumni!
