MIT Club of Austin and San Antonio, MIT Austin and San Antonio Angels and Entrepreneurs, Harvard Angels of Austin, and local clubs from Penn, Wharton, Stanford, Berkeley, Yale, Harvard, NYU, and University of Chicago are excited to welcome Hugh Forrest for an intimate evening focused on the evolution of Austin’s innovation ecosystem.
Hugh spent more than three decades helping grow South by Southwest (SXSW) into one of the world’s most influential gatherings for technology, innovation, and culture.
In his remarks, Hugh will share stories from his time at SXSW and reflect on how Austin became the vibrant innovation hub it is today. He will also discuss what sets Austin apart and offer his perspective on how the city may continue to evolve as a center for entrepreneurship, creativity, and technology.
This event will also provide an excellent opportunity to connect and network with fellow investors, entrepreneurs, innovators, and members of the broader Austin startup community.
