Background
The mission of the Scottish Rite, the senior member-based organization of Freemasons, is to improve its members lives and enhance the communities in which they live by teaching and emulating the principles of Brotherly Love, Tolerance, Charity, and Truth.
Challenge
DespThe Scottish Rite needed a way to connect its current and potential members in the US and around the globe. A previous effort, utilizing only simple forums, had produced mixed results.
Solution
Scottish Rite selected Small World Labs to power the Freemason Network, a member-based community that provides members with a myriad of options to connect, share, and participate from around the world.
Results
The Freemason Network has helped the Scottish Rite in many ways. It provides a new channel for generating new member applications, improved the retention rate for existing members by reducing non-renewals by 10X, increased email click through rates to 3.4X the industry average, and generates more page views than the organization's parent website.
